AMERICAN FREEDOM ALLIANCE Lecture series 2009-2010
The AFA Annual Lecture Series provides the public with an opportunity to hear world famous writers, academics and leaders addressing issues of concern to the future of Western civilization.
The series is often run in cooperation with other like minded organizations and presented at universities, public libraries, cultural centers and other locations of public gathering .
All events are open to the public. Each lecture is recorded and available to the public for download from the AFA web site occasionally for a small fee.
Upcoming Seminar Thursday, April 29, 2010, 7:30 pm Panel: The Culture of Denial in Government FEATURING: Our government ,our judiciary and our military is in denial about some of the most basic threats faced by this country. This includes the denial of the continual threat of terrorist attacks, which are only interdicted by careful planning and direct surveillance; the reality of a home grown Jihadist menace in our midst, constantly plotting to attacks upon us; the insistence that our intelligence services do not need every tool available to thwart those pledged to destroy us and the refusal to accept that it is Islamic teachings that drive terrorists around the world to commit their horrific acts. This fascinating panel, featuring a member of Congress, a former member of the military and a former member of the State Department, will offer a very clear perspective on where our government is going wrong in its understanding of the world and what can be done to educate it. |
